Captain Mike Ekholm is a U.S.C.G. captain, licensed and insured to take up to six passengers. He is a member of the Western Lake Superior Trollers Association and also the North ShoreCharter Captains Association. With more than 15 years of fishing experience on Lake Superior, your captain will make every effort to ensure that your trip is enjoyable and successful. Fishing the big lake is an experience not soon forgotten. Lake Superior holds a variety of fish, including lake trout and salmon. Not knowing what you might catch makes it all the more interesting! Keeping in mind that not everyone is familiar with the equipment used, such as downriggers, planer boards, etc. Mike will take the time to show you and encourage you to participate in all aspects of the fishing action.

Solidarity is a 31 foot flybridge sport-fisherman equipped with:

*Twin engines

*Global pasitioning system

*Radar

*Video depth sounder

*Electric downriggers

*VHF marine radios

*Private head (toilet)

*Cell phone

*U.S.C.G. approver safety equipment

*Plus all the fishing gear needed for the varying fishing techniques used on the "Big Lake".

Charters originate at Barkers Island Marina in Superior Wisconsin. Call for directions.

Solidarity Rates
Rates
Half day (5 1/2 hours) $330.00
Full day (10 hours) $530.00
Morning Charter Hours:
6:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Afternoon Charter Hours:
1:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Rates are based on four people or less per charter. $50.00 each for an additional fifth and sixth person.
