Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In a large bowl, beat butter,
sugar and brown sugar until creamy.
Add eggs, corn syrup and vanilla. Beat until light and fluffy.
Add the remaining ingredients and beat until well blended.
Drop by rounded tablespoons onto an ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake for 12 to 15 minutes or just until tops are set and light brown.
Remove from sheets and place on wire rack to cool.
(Cool completely and store in covered container.)
(The corn syrup keeps these cookies soft and chewy.)
