-Caramel Corn-
2 cups unpopped popcorn
3 cups brown sugar
3 sticks butter or margarine
3/4 cup light corn syrup
3/4 tsp. cream of tartar
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
Pop the corn and put into two large baking pans. Boil sugar, butter, syrup and
cream of tartar for five minutes. Stir in the baking soda and pour over the popcorn.
Stir. Bake in a 225 degree oven for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
