Recipes From The Heart

-Chicken Supreme-
3 cups bread, cubed or torn
3 cups cooked chicken, cut into chunks
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup flour
4 cups chicken broth
1 medium onion, chopped
6 eggs, beaten
salt to taste
pepper to taste
1 can cream of chicken soup
milk

Grease a 9x13 pan. Spread the bread cubes, chicken and onion on the bottom.
Combine the butter and flour in a sauce pan. Cook until it is a light golden
brown. Add the chicken broth, salt and pepper. Stir over a medium heat until
thick. Cool and add eggs. Pour over chicken bread mixture and bake at 325 degrees
for 1 hour or until set. Cut into squares. Mix 1 can of cream of chicken soup
and milk to make a gravy. Pour over each square.
