Recipes From The Heart

-Hot German Potato Salad-
2 lbs potatoes, peeled and sliced
1/3 cup bacon drippings
1/4 cup cider vinegar
1 small onion, chopped
1/2 teas. salt
1/2 teas. celery seed
6 slices bacon, crumbled

In a medium sauce pan, cook the potatoes with water until tender.
Combine the rest of the ingredients in a small sauce pan and heat.
Drain the potatoes and place in a large bowl. Add the dressing and toss.
Be careful not to break up the potatoes.
