Recipes From The Heart

-Sunday Pot Roast-
1 beef or pork roast (4 to 5 lb.)
3 cans cream of mushroom soup
2 large onion, chopped
3 cloves of garlic, minced
1 package dry onion soup mix
2 Tbls. soy sauce
2 Tbls. worcestershire sauce
salt, to taste
pepper, to taste
Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Put roast in a large roasting pan.
Add the remaining ingredients and cover.
Bake 4 to 4 1/2 hours, or until falling apart.

(This is a very easy dish. To make a whole meal,
throw in some potatoes and carrots about an
hour and a half before the roast is done.
The soup makes a gravy. It doesn't get any easier than this.)
