writing a song? i can't say we really write songs, we make them. But when i am making a song, stuff that gets me flowing is usually when tyler makes up a cool guitar part or when drew has a sweet bass line, because i will make something that goes with the song and gives it a whole nother sound to it. But when i am on my own making stuff usually listening to music or being in a good place.
my favorite style ummm probably funk rock, and usually some alternative beats. me favorite technique is using the cymbols i think that high hat and ride symbols are under rated because when you use them in different ways you can really make up some unique stuff.
I started playing percussion in band in like 5th grade and i thought it was pretty sweet, so i got a drumset and i loved it. Although i am not in school band anymore i still love the drums and music. But i am beginning the process of learning guitar and bass.
my major influences musically come from alot of different bands, built to spill is a big one because it is such good music and it is so unique, another one is belle and sebastion, they are from scottland and they are like nothing i have heard before, they are truely amazing. also the rentals are a big influence on me, they are just awsome and unique, and the band air is becoming and influence to me becuase it is really unique the way they use their instruments and sounds. there are alot more but i will make this one my last, the beatles is a big influence to me, because they made sweet songs and put them together so nicley they have just sweet ass songs.
other influences are the other members in this band, the biggest influences would be drew and tyler because it seems like they are more into it and we are on the same level, but greg and paul play a big part also. All my friends have some influence on me but the friends that are in the band baxter have the most impact, without them i would not be so into music like i am today.
I have a tama drumset and thats about it.

I would probably say either simply made or let yourself go would be my favorite songs, I like the more melow slow stuff I guess.
Well there have been a lot of great experiences, but my favorite have been just hanging out recording on the 4 track, doing radio k over this past weekend was also a fav. for me, and all the times before we could drive we would walk up to S.A those are my fav experiences.
I love all animals, especially reptiles and amphibians like my chemelion Quince, but right now I guess my favorite animal is a bush baby becuase they look awesome and they are cute as a bug's eye.
