Usually when i'm gonna write a song i don't do anything i'm just sitten there playin the guitar and something comes to me. For some reason it always happens somewhere other than my house.
I like to use scales and mess around with harmonizing but i don't really know any styles i like to use usually what ever kind of music i'm listening to at the time. I mostly like funk though it's the best cause every one likes it and they can still dance to it. (some what)
For this one i got to give credit to kc garvey he helped me out here. I think it was like 2 summers ago i would go to his house (his old house) just about every day and he got me into it cause haha i think me him and keith were gonna make a band. I'm sorry to say it never happened. I think it was cause keith had trouble holdin a beat but thats how i got into playing the guitar. I still take lessons and i think it's fun.
I can really only think of one or two of my influences. First one is Tim Mahoney he influenced me a lot cause i base my style off him and john frusciante. So i really only got two. But if i had to have another i'd have to say the days of torrid influenced me a lot cause after that i knew i wanted to be way better then we were. You could say it pushed me on.

I use a Jackson guitar not exactly sure of the model i think it's called a dinky or something. I have a bad horsey wah wah peddle (morley) and an ibanez tube screamer for distortion. My amp is a crate and thats about all the equipment that i use.
I like playing for people even though most of the time the people aren't actually listening, it's just the fact that you got all those people to come watch you and to cheer you on. But one of the best things about it is when they're gettin into the music that they're hearing, it really gets you going.
I honestly don't really have anything that gets me ready before a concert i usually just go on. Before we start i'm always kind of nervous, but as soon as you start playing you forget all about it and it's always awesome.

Right now my favorite song would probable either be car, by built to spill, or i'd have to say rock with you, by michael Jackson, I don't like all of his songs, but that song is a very very good song. But 311 is one of my favorite bands so there for almost all of they're songs are my favorite. I guess i don't really have one song that i like the most.
Mine's probably Simply Made, i bet it's probably a lot of the other band members' favorite too. Its just one of our best put together songs.
My favorite animal? why such a weird question? yeah, but my favorite animal would probably be an otter, cause they're so cool, and happy when you go and see them at the zoo. Yeah i don't know i just think they're cool animals, they get to swim all day.
