What is Toastmasters?

When you join Hill Speakers Toastmasters Club, you will:

  • Receive an excellent opportunity for leadership growth and personal development
  • Develop listening and evaluation skills
  • Learn how to set an agenda and facilitate effective on-time meetings
  • Polish public speaking skills
  • Discover how to use visual aids and body language to enhance your presentations

When do you meet?

  • Every second & fourth Wednesday from 11:30 a.m.- 12:30 p.m. in The Customer Conference Room - 5939 Rice Creek Parkway
    (Siemens Building)

What happens at a meeting?

  • Meetings are fun and combine introductions, prepared speeches, impromptu speaking and evaluations

Can I visit before joining?

  • Of course! Visitors are welcome to attend as often as they like until they decide to join

What does it cost?

  • There is a $20 new-member fee, then $27 dues every 6 months. Hill Speakers Club also assess local $3 dues to cover local expenses
