As you know, Patch is a beagle. Most beagles have the common hound colored coats that are short and shed and their height ranges from about 12-16 inches high. Beagles need few baths. They have strong legs and long and wide ears. Their eyes are brown or hazel.

noses capable of tracking down rabbits. Beagles need lots of attention. They enjoy playing with humans and are good with children. Their tendency to bark and howl may bother some owners and neighbors, but beagles can be taught otherwise with obedience classes, patience, and love.
