Samuel Brown
Samuel Brown (1826-1877) was born in Ohio. He was in the 1850, 1860, and 1870 censuses of Daviess County, Missouri. We do not know who his parents were. They may have been living in Daviess County in 1840 also. In 1844 he married Elizabeth Keller (1828-c1852). In 1853 he married Mary Morris (d ca 1854). In 1855 he married Missouri A. Carrol. He was in the Civil War. He died in 1877.

Samuel and Mary (Morris) Brown had the following child: William (1854).

James Brown born 1846 in Daviess County, Missouri. He was
said to have been "carried off" by a group of people when he was young.
John William and Catherine J. (Landes) Brown had the following children: Ida Ann (1868), James Henry (1869), Nora Jane (1872), William Frank (1874), Mary Magdalene (1878), Minnie Ethel (1880), and Lura Edna (1884).
John William and Eliza Melinda (Palmer) Herndon Brown had the following
children: Woody Palmer, Noel Marion (1893), Lola Hortense (1896),
Cassie Rea (1898), and Ruth Doris (1903).
Some of the children of Obediah and Sarah Brown are: Anna (1870),
Samuel (1872), Elery H. (1878), and a daughter (1880). They probably
had more children born after 1880.
Nathaniel B. and Myra E. (Canfield) Brown had the following children:
Franklin E., Clara, Lola, Ruth, Ruby, Effie, and Emma.
Franklin D. and Sarah E. (Brown) Landes had the following children:
Fred, Emma, Clara, Minnie, Iva, Eva, Erma, and Frankie.
