I was given a single aux. light in trade for some work. I didn't want
to cut
any plastic on the bike to mount it so it meant building something.
I'll
probably drill out the bar to make it lighter. A 3rd point secured to
the
center fairing bolt could be used to further secure it but for my needs
it's
not necessary. A stratight alum. rod can easily be bolted to the front
of
the bar to support 2 Hella 500's. I ran my wires between the headlight
and
the fairing but I might need to be do some more riding/testing to see
if this
path will be a problem. I'll probably change the phillips head bolts
to hand
turn knobs for easy removal of the bar. I may even re-tap them for SAE
threads.
