My life is filled with the love of four wonderful children and ten fantastic grandchildren and now, eighteen great-grandchildren. I retired from the State of Missouri in 2007 after 40 years of service. I am hoping that will give me more time to write but so far it hasn't worked out that way.

I started writing when I was 13 years of age. I soon learned that allowing feelings to flow through my pen emphasized the joy of happiness and the relief of pain. I also enjoy reading, crafting, crocheting, working in my flowers and putting together jigsaw puzzles.

I make my home in Missouri, a land filled with lakes, rivers, forests, hills, wildlife and good people. I have traveled to several other states but Missouri will always be home.

I believe Jesus Christ is my Savior. My faith has grown stronger in the last few years and I think it shows in my writing.

The poems on this site are about you and every person living. They are filled with emotions - love, heartbreak, faith, laughter, tears and pain.
