St Louis megas Annual Chicago Excursion

A weekend to get away with the boys!

Details are as follows:

Depart: Friday, September 16, 2011, 10:00 AM - Omega Center - 3900 Goodfellow Blvd.

Return: Sunday, September 18, 2011, 2:00 PM (Arrive St. Louis at approximately 8:00 PM)

Accommodations:

Residence Inn by Marriott Oak Brook, 790 Jorie Blvd, Oak Brook, IL 60523

Rooms:  Studio Suite $99     *     One Bedroom Suite $109     *     Two Bedroom Suite $200 (plus taxes)

(Room rate includes full hot breakfast for up to four persons per room)

Rooms are suites with queen bed(s), kitchen, lounge chair and sleeper sofa

Make your room reservation directly with the hotel by either:

  • calling their reservations line at 1-800-581-2853 (ask for St Louis Omegas rate) or

Deadline for reservations at the St Louis Omegas group rate is August 16, 2011.  Cancellations must be made by 4:00 p.m., September 16, 2011.  If eligible, you may also ask for a lower state or federal government rate.

Transportation:

Charter Bus Service - $85.00 @ Person – (Includes food, beverages, etc.)

Deadline to reserve bus transportation is July 16, 2011.  No cancellations or refunds after August 16, 2011.

Friday:  6 pm  Bus Leaves Hotel for Tommy Gun’s Garage Dinner Theatre, 7 pm Dinner, 8:30 pm Show; 10 pm Bus leaves Theatre for Booze Cruise; 10:30-12 midnight, Booze Cruise; 12:30 am, Bus leaves for Hotel; 1-2 am Hospitality Suite

Saturday: 7-10 am Breakfast at Hotel; 11 am, Bus depart hotel for Navy Pier; 12-2:30 pm, Riverboat Lunch Cruise; 2:30-4:30 pm tour Navy Pier; 5 pm Bus returns to Hotel; 5:30-7:30 pm Hotel pool party; 9 pm Bus depart hotel for booze cruise; 9:30-12 midnight Booze Cruise; 12:30 am, Bus leaves for Hotel; 1-2 am Hospitality Suite

Sunday: 7-10 am Breakfast at Hotel, 10 am – 1:30 pm Hospitality Suite; 12 noon check out; 12:30-1:30 pm Lunch on your own; 2 pm, Bus Departs for home, we will make one stop on way home to purchase carry out meals/refreshments/etc; 8 pm Bus arrives in St Louis.

Costs: $57 per person ($65 if less than 20 in group participate)

Doors Open & Dinner 7-8:30 pm * Show 8:30-10 pm * Departure 10 pm.  Price includes Show, Entree', Soup or Salad, Vegetable, Potato, Dessert, Coffee, Tea or Soft Drink, Tax and Gratuity   Menu: Prime Rib, Salmon, Lasagna (Meat or Marinara) or Boneless Breast of Chicken with Lemon Herb Sauce  Alcoholic Beverages:  may be purchased at an extra charge

Tommy Gun’s Garage is an Audience Interactive “Speakeasy” that offers a musical comedy review wit da gangsters, da flappers and YOU!!!!!(uh, dat’s audience participation).  After a delicious sit-down dinner, join “Vito”, “Gloves”,  and da “gangsters” and da “flappers” for non-stop comedy and dangerous fun.   You will be transported back to da 1920’s complete wit da boss’s 1928 Model “A” Ford, Roaring Twenties music and memorabilia from da Twenties.   Da mugs and da molls dance and sing da Charleston and udder musical selections from Cole Porter to George Gershwin, Fats Waller, Duke Ellington and more…. All played by Chicago’s Sinfully Orchestra. Be ready to hide your hooch (alcohol) cause we could get raided by da coppers  at anytime.  Be careful, you could get pulled up on stage at any time to perform a sobriety test given by Officer Murphy.

Hotel Hospitality Suite & Pool Party Information

Costs: $15 per person for weekend  -  Includes snacks and drinks

The hospitality suite will generally be open throughout the weekend while we are at the hotel and will be stocked with beverages and snacks.  We will also have refreshments at the pool party.  In order to pay for the suite, beverages and snacks or refreshments, we are asking each person to donate $15.
