CIVIL WAR II

Early that morning I woke with excitement, waiting to play my first paintball scenario game. I got ready, then nagged at my mom to hurry up so we could get there early. By the time we arrived, I was about the second person there. I talked to the guy who ran the store, and he found my registration card. He also fixed my gun, and then let me take a tour of the field. I noticed most of it is woods, but its got some really neat features, such as: a plywood city, a lagoon, a tent, a huge trailor-park base, and much more. Eventually more people started to show up, and get ready. I prepped all my stuff, then went to the meeting. They basically went through basic rules and instructions on the game. We were given a half hour deadline until the game started. I got my medic band, 4 + 1 pack, headband, mask, and gun on. Just before the game-on horn, I got out onto the field, with the team following me. Finally, the horn sounded!

The East (Red Team), our team, split up into two, half taking the lower valley (the light part on the bottom of the map) while my half took the ridge (dark part of map). The enemy forces were scattered really far apart, so all our guys could focus easily on the outnumbered enemies. We made a really quick push, taking flag stations as we went! The enemy lines crumbled before us.

After about 15 minutes of total domination, we got to the creek right in front of The Compound (the enemies base). We were able to pick off almost all the people not in the trailers, but the ones who made it back to the trailer were pretty much out of our range. We advanced into and across the creek, right up to the two bunkers in front of The Compound. I ran up to the smaller bunker, thinking I was safe. Unfortunently, I didn't get low enough, and caught a painful shot right to the top of my head. Head shots mean automatic out, no medic can save you. I am the red dot below, that shows where I was when I was hit.
