Our interests have always been with the old-time crafts and skills of our forefathers (and foremothers!) and our searches led us to believe there were more folks like us out there who appreciated the past and all it had to teach.
We originally started out selling books, patterns and trade goods at Mountain Man / Buckskinner Rendezvous all over the U.S. back around 1980 and have done that full and part time until the summer of 2004 when a couple of injuries prevented continuation in that form.
I built my first web site in the mid-1990s, joined Ebay in 1997 and have pretty well had a web presence since that time, alternating between the web site and Ebay as time and life experiences allowed. After a number of successful years on Ebay, I have decided to re-establish the presence of this web site as a source of quality reference and entertainment products devoted to preserving our past and heritage.
In addition to the merchandise we have for sale through this site, our goal is to also present free content that will be of use and interest to our friends and customers. If you have any suggestions, please feel free to submit them to the email address linked to below as I always enjoy hearing from you.
