The "Thompson" House
Winston-Salem, NC

This looked like just an ordinary house from the early 1900's. The story says that a Mr. Thompson lived here in the 1930's. He was supposedly killed right by the house on his way home from work one evening.
When we got the pictures back from this visit, we were shocked, to say the least. We've been back a couple more times since that first visit. The house, at the times we visited it, was unoccupied. It looked as though the inside of the house were being renovated, preparing it for rent or sale. No one was in the house, at least no one living.

A view of the front. You can see the picture takers reflected in the door, and something else there as well.

The rear of the house. Notice the window on the right. An enlargement has been added of that area.

The front door of the house. There is a "rainbow" across the bottom right, and a man in the door. No man was there, inside or out when the picture was taken.
