1. When did you first decide you wanted to be a Writer? By necessity, around 1978. 2. At what age did you first get your big break in the film business? Let's see. I think it was around 1989. I was about 24 and I was hired by Cinetel to rewrite a Mario Puzo script. 3. Who was your biggest influence? Stanley Kubrick. 4. Did you have to go to college to learnin this profession ? I didn't *have* to. No. 5. Can you make a living off of writing? I can, and do. 6. What is the difference between Independent films and Studio films? It's a spirit. It's when you're making the film for yourself, and not for the corporation. 7. What is your favorite genre of film? I have no single favorite genre. Perhaps -- horror. 8. What is your favorite all time movie? A Clockwork Orange. 9. Do you use any kind of math in this profession? Yes. I find myself occasionally doing calculus and sometimes trig. 10. What is your favorite part about being a writer as famous as you? Getting laid by porn stars.
