Book of Shadows : Blair Witch 2 *

I've never seen an audience so baffled as that which left the screening I attended of Book of Shadows : Blair Witch 2. I wasn't all that impressed by the original (I prefer movies where you can actually see what's happening, rather than having to rely on character narration), but this was atrociously bad. The producers were obviously so eager to rush a sequel out that they forgot to bother reading the script.

The best sequels are basically retreads of the original (Halloween 2 and 4, Evil Dead 2) but this bares no resemblance at all to it's predecessor. It's not even set in the woods, most of the movie takes place in a warehouse.

If you place no value on thrills or suspense but enjoy the sight of cheap-rate actors shouting at each other, then this is for you.
