DIR: John Singleton CAST: Samuel L Jackson, Christian Bale, Toni Collette, Jeffrey Wright, Vanessa Williams

After several so called "worthy" films, Singleton has opted to try his hand at an action movie, yet still manages to fill it with his usual racist perspective of non black folk. In this movie there are literally no white or hispanic characters who aren't crooked in some way.

Isn't it time film-makers like Singleton and Spike Lee were brought to book over this? Can you imagine a white director getting away with such stereotyping? E-mail me your thoughts.

On the plus side, Christian Bale is great in what is little more than a reprisal of his "American Psycho" performance, and the music is pretty funky.
