This page is for Mary Alice (Legg) Michael Born To Earth 1-25-1956 Born To Heaven 4-1-1999 She was the most beautiful Red Headed, Green Eyed, Loving caring daughter anyone could have. She left her mark upon the world. She left behind two fo the most beautiful daughter's. Her daughter's Develyn 11 and Hailey 4 will always remind the world That she was here. They could have been a clone of Mary as they are just like her. I will love her until we meet again in Heaven. These two little girl's are very gifted. I will now become the Grandmother-Mother and with God's help will do my best to raise these girls to become fine young women that would make their mother proud. I am now making a Memorial Garden for Mary's It will have many Flower's and We have placed a three foot Concrete Angel with some of her ashes under it. We have placed a curved Bench there so we will have a peaceful place to go and meditate. I am sure Mary is Quite Happy with her Garden.
Mary Alice was born in Columbus, Ohio. She was only a Three Pound baby and they did not think she would live. Mary was a fighter and she fooled everyone. She was the third child born to me Sallie Holbein. She went to School in Columbus, Ohio.Everyone who ever knew Mary knew her to be a smiling sweet girl. Mary never hurt anyone knowingly in her life. She started using Drugs and Alchol when she married and went to Germany with her Husband who was in the Army. Mary Divorced and Married again to Larry Michael, but with the drug's it just could not last and she was divorced again. At this time she moved to Lynchburg Va. where her Mother and Father Sallie and Melvin Helmut Martin lived.Mary loved her Mother and Father very much. She soon found that Drugs were in Lynchburg also and was back on them soon after arriving. The drug's were her downfall. She tried to quite many time's but, it just came back. She was in Drug rehab. and had a Cocain Stroke while there. They told her in 1994 that if she went back to using it would kill her, and in the end it was to come true. During these times she had two girl's Develyn in 1988 and Hailey in 1995.Her girls must now pay with their Sadness for the things that their mother chose to do. Mary's was a good girl and loved the Girls very much but, she just could not get that Monkey off her back. HEAR WHAT I SAY DRUG'S WILL KILL YOU AND YOUR CHILDREN. FIGHT EVERYWAY YOU CAN TO STOP YOUR CHILDREN AND FAMILY MEMBER'S AND FRIENDS FROM USING DRUG'S. TURN IN EVERY DRUG DEALER THAT YOU HEAR ABOUT.
A Poem For Mary Discarded Trash Bag I wrote this poem a couple of years ago but,didn't feel like anyone would want to hear a story so sad but, I think it ia time to let my feelings out.
This is the Story about the Value of a Trash Bad. Most people think it's just like an old rag. You get it and use it for just a few days. And then like trash you just throw it away. The trash bag I have I think I will keep. With this trash bag it value is, Memories so sweet. If you hear my story you will maybe see. Why this trash bag means so much to me. A Story it tells of both good and some Bad. And to some it would really sound so sad. A Family so poor they could hardly afford to be fed. The baby so small 3 lbs the Doctor said would soon be dead. So small she looked just like a play doll. But, soon she grew and shown like a star. Her life was full of Happiness and Grief. Then like a tree in winter she fell like a leaf. Two beautiful little girls she left behind. An old grandmother retired and now they are mine. She was gone in a blink, at the age of Forty Three. The shock of it all almost destroyed Me. No money to bury her not even a Dime. To leave her in a freezer was almost a Crime. A Saint came along and paid for Cremation. A feeling that gave us a great sensation. We picked up her Ashes in a Clear plastic bag. With a twist tie around it and Identification Tag. They put the bag in a black plastic box from the trash. This is the things that happen without cash. Right after we were sure she was Dead. We cut off her Red Braid from her head. We placed some Red Hair and Ashes in Dollar Store Jars. The rest of the ashes we sent to the Stars. So think about a Trash bag and you will see. I have a Trash Bag that is everything to me. Two little girls who's mother is Dead. They will make it somehow, I hope you have heard what I have said. Everyday when she comes to my thought. I drop more in the bag thats filled to the top. When I am alone and I sit and Cry. I still have to ask myself why she had to die. I’m getting weaker and older and it beginning to show. What will happen to these girls I would like to know. She was a good, fun loving Girl but, just could not kick the Drug Habit. Love your children and pray they don't become a casualty of the evil Drugs.
NEWS AS OF FEBUARY, 2999 DEVELYN IS NOW IN COLLEGE AND A STUDENT. HER AUNT IN CHICAGO IS PAYING FOR HER TO GO TO LAYOLA COLLEGE. SHE HAS ONE MORE YEAR. HAILEY IS NOW A 7TH GRADER AND DOING QUITE WELL. IT'S OUR ANGEL MARY WHO IS MAKING ALL THIS HAPPEN FOR HER GIRLS. MY FAHTER JOINED MARY IN HEAVEN IN APRIL OF 2008. I KNOW HE IS TAKING CARE OF MY DAUGHTER NOW. I LOVE THEM BOTH SO MUCH AND MISS THEM MORE THAN ANYONE COULD EVER KNOW.

Heidi Christi Anne (Holbein) Blizzard Age 30 Born January 7,1971 Lost her Fight with Cancer today July 4th,2001. She was Mary's cousin and my Brother's only Daughter. Who would have thought that two years after the death of my Daughter my Brother would lose his Daughter also. She left behind a Beautiful daughter Brooke who is three years old, her Husband Mark and her Father Albert Jr.,Stepmother Charlene, Mother Kathy, Stepfather Norm and Brothers Hans and Jeffrey. HEIDI IS NOW SITTING AT THE TABLE WITH OUR ANGEL MARY. WE LOVE AND MISS OUR ANGELS BUT WILL MEET THEM SOMEDAY.
