MEET THE CAST | |
Here, we start with big jerk, Bobby Budnick. Budnick sure could be an ass to everyone, especially to Sponge and Donkey Lips, but he sure got what he deserved in the capture the flag game when he got nailed with all those water balloons. Take that, Budnick! He also was John Connor's friend in the movie Terminator 2.

It's SPONGE! Everybody's favorite nerd. One of the few TV nerds that I didn't want to kick in the head (Urkel comes to mind). Sort of a loner, although he shared a cabin with Donkey Lips, Budnick and the rest. He's also Tringale's idol.
Donkey Lips. He overcame his lisp and slight weight problem to become the MVP on the Capture the Flag team (remember he couldn't do the tires?) and he became the owner of the popsicle stick-birdhouse business (classic quote: "The construction crew demands a new flavor of popsicle. We're tired of cherry.") Best friends with Budnick for unknown reasons.
Michael. He was around for the first season. Budnick hated him, he hated Budnick. All the girls seemed to like him. He and Budnick became friends when they faked sick so they didn't have to go to the beach and they stayed in the nurse's room and did a puzzle and ate ice cream. I cried. He also owned Harry the Hippo. The stuffed animal that Zeke the Plumber shoved in a toilet.
Here we have Robbie Pinsky. He replaced Michael in season #2. He was also annoying. Not likeable. Better known for his role as "Joey" on Boy Meets World. He was in Harvey's gang. Of course, he had longer hair.
This is Telly, the tomboy. No one really cared about her. She always seeked revenge on Budnick. She didn't have many plot lines centered on her because no one liked her. I always thought she belonged on Hey Dude.
Here's Dina, the girl all the prepubescent boys dreamed about. She was the rich girl that didn't like getting dirty, although she did go out with Budnick for a period of time. Remember that? She was going to cut his hair, and i think he called it off. I liked seeing Budnick squirm.
This is ZZ showing off her acorn earrings. She almost lost the capture the flag game by using two water balloons to water a tiny sapling that "was thirsty." As an impressionable youth, ZZ's character has consequently made me hate all environmentalists or "tree-huggers." Death to the rain forest.
Finally, we have Kevin "Ug" Lee, get it? Ug was the stupid counselor that all the kids could play pranks on. He vowed to get revenge on Budnick when he said "it makes me wanna fart" in the opening theme song. He told Budnick to "Get it right or pay the price." Now Ug really wants him to pay the price. Pay him anything really. He's been out of business for quite some time. Interesting how Dr. Kahn (Ben Stein) is the only currently successful cast member. |
