The greatest gift...is the realization that life does not consist either of wallowing in the past or of peering anxiously at the future, and its appalling to contemplate the great number of then painful steps by which one arrives at a truth so old, so obvious and so frequently expressed. It is good for one to appreciate that life is now! Whatever it offers, little or much, life is now this day this hour! ~Charles Flander~ You need to make yourself happy before you make others happy because if you don't speak your mind and you let everyone make decisions for you, then your just molding yourself into being someone else's expectations of you and not your own. You need to make yourself happy before others because if you don't you'll never be who you are, you'll just be who they want you to be, and you'll never get a chance to be that person inside who is originally who you've always been and always wanted to be. ~Melissa O'Sullivan~ .. Don't go through life looking for the person you want to spend the rest of your life with...look for the person you can't live the rest of your life without... Tis better to have loved and lost then to have never loved at all... the greatest gift you could ever receive is love coming from someone you love with all your heart...~Melissa O'Sullivan~ Although time may bring me somebody new...no one will ever compare to you.... We'll have to go and kick ass at kick boxing some time!! :) Even through all of the hard work and pain you endure in a relationship, sometimes they still choose somebody else... I find myself trying to change you, if we were meant to be together i shouldn't have to... "A falling star is a star thats lost its love...." "The quality of strength lined with tenderness is an unbeatable combination, as are intelligence and necessity when unblunted by formal education. Maya Angelou~ "As you grow older, you will find that the only things you regret, are the things you did not do." The past is just a part of who I am in the present. Without the past, the joys and sorrows, the victories and losses, I would not be where I am now, or who I am today! Maya Angelou It takes a minute to have a crush on someone, an hour to like someone and a day to love someone... (actually longer than that but it sounds good!) but it takes a lifetime to forget someone!! You could spend your whole life in fear of pain, but love is only as deep as the risk you take!
