Have you ever known one of those idiots who thinks Pokémon is just for 2 year olds? Come on, we've all gotten it before. Case in point; Monday, September 18th, second class, English. Some kid, one row over, 2 seats up, sees my Mewtwo patch on my backpack. "Isn't Pokémon for two years olds?" he asked like a typical lower-than-dubby. "I don't expect you to get it," I said. Unfortually, he didn't hear me due to class starting up. Now, when I say 'lower-than-dubby' I mean someone who knows little or nothing about the American version of the show, nevermind the original Japanese show. Anyway, what I'm getting at is, due to alot of American hype, most people forget about the Japanese and become dubbies who intern only see what America sees. No anime has an age limit. A friend of mine is 22 and owns a Pokémon page. The difference between cartoons and anime is that the characters have depth and personality. (All the previous text was written in English, now I'm in my last class, science. Just thought I'd mention that.) Now there are some aspects of Pokémon that younger kids like, like Pikachu being cute. But people who watch Pokémon through the eyes of a real anime lover get that it's not a cartoon it's an ANIME. So, it basically depends on how much you know about anime. To real anime lovers, no anime, especially Pokémon, has an age limit.
('age limit' in this essay refers to when someone should stop liking something. I am NOT saying that a 9 year old should watch uncut Tenchi Muyo!)
