Brice's Crossroads 3The geomagnetic and solar activity level was low. As a consequence, there wasn't as much activity as we had experienced the first time we investigated the site. We know that there is a lot more investigation necessary before we state full conclusions on Brice's Crossroads.We do know that it is an "active" site and that most of the stories behind the possible activity would class most of it under the category of "historical repeater" However there are a few instances that have indicated that there could also be a "sentient" haunting. This is indicated in that the anomalies will sometimes react to the presence of people.. even to the point of following certain people around.

Darkness Falls
There are no anomalies in this photo (that I know of), It just gives you the general atmosphere of the site. I was very impressed by Robert (probationary/member investigator). At about 8:30, the group stopped to take a break near the front entrance to the cemetery. I wandered off alone to the rear of the cemetery to take some pictures. After 5 minutes or so, I heard a sound off to my left and went to investigate. It was Robert. It's rare to find someone who would be willing to wander through a "haunted" cemetery, especially if he didnt know that I was already out there... After a while you get used to it, but for a new person to do that.. I was impressed. I never advise going it alone on an investigation. The danger is not from the dead, but accidents can happen.. especially if you do see something and you decide it might be best to beat a hasty retreat. In any case, it is a dark and spooky place at night. So far everyone in our group has proven to be unafraid of things that go bump in the night. It portends well for the group. |
Streak of light
Dr. Daniel J. Perea is our Infrared Videographer. While taking video, he didnt notice the anomalies just out of the camera's sight. He followed us out to the darkness about 5 minutes after Robert.
