Frederick is clearly Hitler, and we see examples of this in the book. The trade engaged between the two farms after Napoleon's denunciation of Pilkington, i.e. the Non-Agression Pact signed between Hitler and Stalin. Frederick's invasion of the farm, i.e. Hitlers invasion of Russia.
