NE-I-YAH-N CONCEPT
The reason why we are called the four bodied people comes from our creation stories. As compared to the Adam and Eve theory we are told that in the beginning that there were two men created. At the time they were told to experience life here on earth on two separate continents. They were told to meet with their creator at a certain time after experiencing life on Earth. They were each given a chance to express what they needed. And so, they told their creator they were lonely and would need companionship. The first man wanted only one, the second wanted two sets of of men and women. Wishes were granted thus the name "Ne-i-yah-wah-k"-the Four Bodied People. This is why we called our writing system "Ne-i-yah-w Mah-si-nah-i-kah-nah".
