The Harlowton Federated Church is a connectional church and thus affiliated with both the United Methodist Church and the Presbyterian Church (USA). Being federated means we work under the guidelines, discipline, and confessions of both denominations. This federation has been working for over 50 years! And we look forward to many years to come!
Harlowton Federated Church is a redemptive worshipping community under the Lordship of Jesus Christ. It is our desire under the guidance of the Holy Spirit to preach, teach, share and live the Word of God. We celebrate in worship that is inclusive and Spirit-filled, where God is glorified and Jesus Christ is proclaimed the Lord.
We believe salvation through Jesus Christ brings wholeness of body, mind, soul and spirit. We envision our church to be a healing center that seeks to provide programs and ministries meeting the spiritual, emotional and physical needs of our entire congregation and the community that we serve. Empowered both as individuals and as the family of faith we are called to minister to hurting persons and a needy world.
