Some general advices:
1) Don't be frightened off by the null signs. They have a special purpose. If you work carefully you can find them out.
2) A large key to this is the name of a city. This city is near a certain channel of water. Here's a hint: QARPEI UDOHNA
3) You'll use a LOT of paper.
4) The first person to e-mail me at wdrcad@yahoo.com and send me the correctly deciphered message will have their names placed in the "Hall of Fame" on this site. I wish I could give you money or something, but, I'm broke.
5) One more thing: I'll give some small hints if you need them.
B. The Sirius Cryptogram is enciphered with a transposition cipher, Vigenere cipher, and a substitution cipher.
C. Use the keyword [which is the name of the city] for the transposition cipher and the Vigenere cipher.
D. As you encipher each character, a different substitution alphabet is used. This is the first alphabet. Every three characters uses this alphabet: G M K R B Q J V H W D P C Z L Y F X U A O S I N T E.
E. You might want to reverse some different things. hint...hint...
Well, we'll see where THIS bit of information gets anybody.
