We have dedicated this website to Frankie and the Seasons as a tribute to them for the great music and history that they have given us over the years. Our intentions are to give a little bit back to not only the fans but also show our love of the music, the Four Seasons and the man himself, Frankie Valli
DISCLAIMER: OUR GROUP HAS MANY MEMBERS THAT ARE IN THE OFFICIAL FOUR SEASONS FAN CLUB, BUT THIS GROUP, AS A WHOLE, IS NOT WORKING IN ASSOCIATION WITH, NOR IS IT A PART OF THAT FINE ORGANIZATION, NOR ANY OTHER ORGANIZATION.
Over the course of the next few pages you will find a history of the group and what impact they have had on the music industry beginning in the late 1950's and still going strong today. In fact, Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons were recently named by Billboard Magazine as the Longevity Champions of Rock and Roll. The group is also the only group in Rock and Roll History to have had Billboard Top 100 hit singles in each decade of the 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's and the 1990's.
So,what is the Institute of Seasonology? It is a school of higher learning for the purposes of teaching others about the importance of the Four Seasons to the music industry. Our Seasonologists are dedicated to teaching you as much as possible about the group, about their music and what lies ahead in the new millennium.
Within the next several pages, you will find pictures of not only Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons but also newspaper and magazine articles, album and CD covers, a 45's picture sleeve page, billboard page, midi files and Windows Wallpaper to download and more about the Institute itself.
The Institute of Seasonology has several goals in mind but the main purpose of the Institute is for the preservation of the music and history of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons. We simply want to keep the music that we love alive forever.
You will also find something here that you cannot find anywhere else... the opportunity to get an honorary degree in Seasonology. Go a bit further in your studies and you can get a Masters Degree in Seasonology. Go even further and you can obtain the ultimate prize... a Doctorate in Seasonology.
Let me tell you a little bit about our E-Mail Group. We started this thing on an idea back on May 8, 1999. Never in our wildest imaginations could we have visualized what would lie ahead for us and what could be accomplished. Our group, in this short period of time, has grown to over 100 members and is still growing. We organized and had the very first ever Seasons Convention in Somerville, New Jersey on October 23, 1999 with the great Joe Long as our guest of honor. The convention was so successful that we are going to have another Seasons Convention on September 16, 2000 in the city of Brotherly Love, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the unofficial home of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons. If you are a Seasons fan, make plans now to attend. More information about the convention will be coming soon.
