Current and previous bands.
Brant Bjork joined Kyuss for the second album 'Blues for the red sun' and left after the third album 'Sky valley'. During this time he built up a friendship with various members of 'fuzz rock' (not my term) band Fu Manchu, and in 1994 produced their first album ' No one rides for free'. Two years later he joined Fu Manchu as full time drummer and plays with them still. In 1999 he released his first solo album 'Jalamanta' on Mans Ruin, the record label also responsible for the desert sessions EPs and the Kyuss/Queens of the stone age split. Brant Bjork is regarded by many to be the best drummer on the stoner scene, with an ability to change from the most thundering powerfull rock, to the most soulfull blues-rock with painfull ease.
