Craig Armstrong studied at the Royal Academy Of Music
in London and later at the Scottish Arts Council. A
very succesful career followed, working in film, TV,
theatre and commercial music. His songwriting credits
include "I Don't Want A Lover" with
Texas, "Satellites" with Big Dish and "Weather Storm"
and "Sly" with Massive Attack. His orchestral work can
be heard on various recordings by Madonna, U2,
Passengers, The Future Sound Of London and The London
Suede. He also composed and conducted the strings on
the title music for the films "Goldeneye", "Batman
Forever", "Mission Impossible" and has co-composed the
original score for the highly acclaimed Baz Luhrmann
film version of "Romeo and Juliet".
