Over 32 years ago, the group was founded by Dan Hunter, and in the ‘70’s and ’80’s they were one of the most popular Southern Gospel groups on the West Coast. After a nearly 15 year sabbatical they are back and stronger than ever. Their “re-debut” album, “The Road” is getting them back on the road and, potentially, on the charts. This quartet is not the typical- either musically or in personnel. Made up of husband and wife team, Dan and Debbie Hunter (both on vocals), veteran singer Rick Gentry, Zack delaRosa on keyboards and vocals and, newest member, Nelson Beltran on guitars, keyboards and vocal, the group has a style unique within Southern Gospel circles. You are sure to enjoy the fresh, new and enlightening sound of the Crownsmen.
