We had a wonderful afternoon at Enniskillen Castle, where we played for a small crowd and then toured the Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers Museum as their guests. We were particularly grateful to Dennis Short, a former member of the Regiment, who shaped all our caubeens for us in the proper fashion at long last! We dutifully wore our damp caubeens for several hours, to break them in. |
