« Every group has a beginning... »

It all started way back in a city called London, Ontario. April was fifteen at the time, back when Backstreet boys were just "making it" in Europe. After doing some acting, she did a musical where she realized singing was what she loved most about performing. Wary about going solo, she put out several ads for girls wanting to start a singing group. After several auditions,April met Ariel. In a short performance of "Eye on the Sparrow" April was blown away by her natural talent and immediatly included her in what they thought would be a successful group. They sought out and found other members, but nothing seemed to work. No one was ambitious about it like they were. Even with constant disappointments of going through several groups, Ariel and April stuck together. They continued to perform as a duo, doing talent searches and performances every chance they got. They had faith that somehow, eventually, things would work out.

April still dreamed about singing and moved to Toronto to pursue performing while she attended school. She still dreamed about having a group, and after some thought, decided to try things again..so she put another ad in several papers and set up auditions with over 65 girls. She auditioned each one, and with each, more disapointment came. The last week of auditions, she got a phone call from a man who said that his daughter had been dreaming of being in a singing group and April should talk to her. At first hesitant that it might be another disapointment, she decided to give it a try. Talking to her on the phone, April and Tanya had very similar aspirations and goals - but April still had to hear her sing. They set up a meeting the following week, and Tanya sang "My All" by Mariah Carey. She sang it with such power, April had a feeling - this just might work out. Returning home to visit in London, April played the tape recording of Tanyas audition for Ariel and convinced her to give the singing group one last try - maybe this time things would work --- So Ariel agreed and two weeks later the three of them met up in London for the first time. They sang three songs together, and the excitement grew. Out of all the groups they'd ever had, never had Ariel and April worked so well with someone. Tanya fit like the place was meant for her, and the three got along as if they'd been together forever. Thats the story of the beginning, and its been going ever since....
