Center Stage began as a television production and turned into a lifestyle. I created the show in 2000 to feature local and regional musicians that viewers may not get to hear because they are not on mainstream radio or MTV. I wanted to spread the music.  On the way, the show brought crazy productions, roadtrips, and friendships.  I also got the opportunity to have a radio show on 91.3 fm WVUD to showcase artists that I enjoy and support.

I heard about amazing artists through openers and through word-of-mouth from friends that I have made by chance, through going to concerts, and the internet. These friends can be found all over the region and have opened many musical doors to me to bands that I may not have heard about otherwise. A majority of these bands have flourished due to grassroots efforts. If you like what you hear and see please stop by their site, see their concerts, and tell them how much you appreciate their music.

I no longer produce the Center Stage television show on STN, but am still around to help with this amazing project.  Any questions or comments can now be directed to Marissa, the current producer.

I recently graduated from the University of Delaware with a double degree in Mass Communication and Political Science.  Currently I can be found at Rainbow Records during the day and any venue on the East Coast checking out live music more often than not.  Hopefully I will be attending New York University in the fall for a post graduate degree in Music Management & Business.  Just another step closer towards working in the industry, this time the education is formal rather than all the endeavors had on the road.
