"Demo Tape"

Released 1998

on DoubleDown Records

My thoughts on this recording: I remember I was at a Minor Times show and I knew they'd still have some Inkling shit. So I asked Brian (drums) if he had any more demos he said yeah so he opened this box full of inkling shit. My friend and I bought the last 2 copies of the tape and some vinyl, shirts, and stickers. I played the tape when I got back from the show. The thing I liked most about it was the guitars on the tape. Lots of effects and such. Over all rating from 1-10 i give it an 8. A nice blend of soft and hard songs very well done.

"Minute"

Released 1999

on DoubleDown Records

My thoughts on this recording: This was the first I heard of Inkling. My cousin brought it over and I'm like "Inkling that's an odd name." The cover art fooled me into thinking of some soft crap band. But once I put it in i was blown away. This whole album is amazing. This was one of the reasons why I'm in a band. I love this cd. I can't even describe it. My rating from 1-10 is fucking 10.

"Miscommunication"

Released 2000

on Hex Records

My thoughts on this recording: Reminds me of the demo tape. A blend of soft and hard songs but with more musical skill. I was impressed with how much they improved. This cd is more relaxed. Not much more to say other than they improved. My rating from 1-10 is a 9. To me this cd is just beautiful.

Inkling/Charlie Brown Gets A Valentine 7" Split

Released 1999

on Spoiled Records

My thoughts on this recording: I thought this version of Drawing Conclusions was better than the version on Miscommunication. Inkling should have put more songs on the split. My rating on inkling's side of this record from a 1-10 is a 10. This song is the shit.

Released 1999

My thoughts on this recording: Well I don't have this one but i have mp3's of the 2 songs inkling did on this tape. They are kinda different "Could Be" is a mellow song. "One Ugly Lie" is more of a heavy song. These songs sound like songs off their demo. My rating from 1-10 is an 8.
