Yvonne, born in McLennan, Alberta and went to school in Dawson Creek, BC.

She then moved to Kelowna, BC, where she sang front-end vocals for several groups, until 1979 when she joined her now stage partner and husband Ken.

She has accomplished a couple of projects aside from her contribution to the 22-year-old country music duo with her husband... One of them being a special recording for World War veterans commemorating 50 years since the end of WWII. She still performs this album live on and around November 11 for Remembrance Day programs. Another, being invited to open the 1997 Alberta Summer Games in Lloyminster, Alberta. She performed "Make A Break For The Border" that was written by Ken...

Ken, born in Unity, SK. in June of 1955. Farm raised around the small community of Reward, almost finished school in Calgary where he no sooner got his drivers' license and hit the road. Backed up Lucille Star on several of her Canadian performances, played bass for Gary Lee (Rodeo Song) & Showdown and other various road groups until 1975. Decided to try something "normal", and moved to Kelowna in 1975 and bought into a small excavating business.

While this was all fine, without the music, there was something missing, so he took on an entertainment/lounge manager's position in a local Kelowna club...This is where Ken & Yvonne met. In 1979, they hooked up and hit for Whitehorse, Yukon.

Currently living in mid-west Saskatchewan, Ken & Yvonne have put three children through school, and are now back on the road again with their new name "Presidio". Formerly Rafter-t.

Yvonne plays an acoustic six-string guitar, and still sings her heart out.

Ken plays electric bass, sings (mostly harmony), and does the programming that is sequenced through a Roland Synth. Hear samples on our Jukebox Page.

Catch 'em almost anywhere in the three western provinces. See some pic's in our Gallery.
