BIOGRAPHY

Ruth Alderton was born in St. Louis, Missouri on May 21, 1991. She lived in St. Louis until she was two years old, and then moved to Atlanta, GA. Since then, she has moved four times, finally residing in South Carolina.

She has six siblings--three brothers (Josh, 17; Eli, 11; Noah, 6) and two sisters (Hannah, 15; Miriam, 8). At the age of six, her father was diagnosed with cancer. After an ongoing battle for his life that lasted about five years, he died on February 10, 2003 when Ruth was eleven.

Ruth first discovered her love for acting at the age of eight when she landed the role of "Mac Guire" in her church's production of "Sermon on the Mount". Since then, she has taken part in over 20 productions, including a few that she has directed. Her most recent role was "Alice" in The Miracle Worker.

Twelve years old, Ruth is currently taking life one step at a time, trusting her Heavenly Father to let her know what's next. As of now, she is planning on auditioning for a few productions at the state's community theatre this summer.
