Jean Valjean:
Jean Valjean is a do-gooder ex-con with a heart of gold. His favourite past-times include: giving alms, saving prostitutes from prison, and revolutionising the bracelet industry. Not compatible with Javert.
Javert:
Inspector Javert is an officer of the law, and don't you forget it. He doesn't appreciate his updated look, either. His favourite things include: The Law, that sound a lock makes when you turn the key in it, and saying mean things about Valjean behind his back.
Happy Fantine:
Fantine is very happy here. She has a beautiful baby daughter, a clever lover, and three great friends. Surely nothing bad will happen to her in the near future...
Sad Fantine:
Whoops. Fantine is a short-haired prostitute with no front teeth. Her dislikes include: everyone in town, Monsieur Madeleine, and... Monsieur Madeleine. She misses her daughter terribly. Also, she can't stop coughing.
Young Cosette:
Cosette is a serving-girl at The Sergeant of Waterloo inn. She tends to get a lot of beatings, and people call her "The Lark." She dreams of castles in clouds, dolls in windows, or a prince coming to rescue her, depending on your CD.
Cosette:
Cosette is a recent convent graduate who is beginning to discover that she's quite a looker. Luckily for her, a certain young student is starting to notice the same thing...
Marius:
Marius is a law student and a baron with easily-shaken political beliefs and a very idyllic view of his father. He isn't a very snappy dresser, but his shoes are always shined. And he lurves Cosette.
Éponine:
Éponine would like to remind you that she is not, in fact, an ingenue in any way. Her hobbies include: stalking Marius, getting it on with Montparnasse, and making Loony jealous. She doesn't still say there's a way for her and Marius, because she has a much better grasp on reality than that. Well... a different grasp on reality, anyway.
Montparnasse:
Montparnasse is a breath-takingly handsome murderer just under twenty years old. He has a completely inexplicable relationship with Éponine and is the object of most of Loony's dreams.
Enjolras:
As Montparnasse is to Loony, so Enjolras is to almost everyone else. The marbled, Apollonian, hardly-human student is also the leader of Les Amis de l'ABC. And much prettier than this particular creation suggests.
Grantaire:
A drunk, a cynic, and Enjolras's number one fan, Grantaire may not be completely straight, but Enjy fans often love him. Likes: absinthe, Enjolras, any other alcoholic beverage, Enjolras, the green faerie, and Enjolras. Has a bandaid because it makes him look scruffier.
