Reviews:
S. Hawkins from California, USA: I had the opportunity to see Colm Wilkinson in San Francisco, before the cast winged off to China for the tour. I was a bit afraid that he wouldn't measure up to all the hype; "the greats" coming back can be iffy. But I am happy to report that he was quite brilliant. It took me a bit to get over the fact that I was actually seeing Colm Wilkinson and was able to really focus on what he was doing. I think I had the biggest, goofiest grin on my face when he did his patented "took my fliiiiiiiiiight!"! Both his acting and his singing were amazing. He was really tender and caring with young Cosette, and his acting during the "Waltz" was priceless. "Bring Him Home" was stunning. I don't think anyone in the theater was breathing as he held that last note.
Daniel Tabrett from UK: I think that Colm Wilkinson IS Jean Valjean. He has played him in a lot of different places.
