Various Goofs Observed In The Sound of Music

During the song 'Maria' Julie Andrews can be seen walking in the background in the same dress she wears in the opening sequence.
While In the marketplace where Maria juggles the tomatos, there is a brown box under the vegetable stand which reads: "Produce of Israel". At the time Israel was not yet a country.
During the sequence in Maria's bedroom it is thundering and lightning occur at the same time, which is technically impossible.
(It has been contriversial on whether the following is a goof or not)Also in Maria's bedroom(which is on the second floor), Liesl is seen sneaking in through the window while Maria is praying. It appears as though she runs up to the window and climbs in, suggesting that she did not climb up the trellis, but merely ran up to the window on the set and jumped in. But since we don't know if Maria's bedroom has a balcony connected to it(as The Captain's room does) we do not know if this was accidental or not.
Salzburg is on Austria's German (not Swiss) border. (In real life the Von Trapps simply traveled 100 km to the Italian border for a supposed mountain-climbing vacation, crossed openly, and did not return.)
You will notice that while Maria is singing 'I Have Confidence' that she leaves the abbey for the Trapp Villa and goes left, but when the children go to the abbey in the second act, they come from the right. So either Maria decided to go the long way to the Trapp Villa to gove her time to sing the full song or it was just a blooper.
