Well Known Proclamations

No president has issued more famous proclamations than Lincoln, from the proclamation declaring the first national day of Thanksgiving, to what is arguably the most famous presidential proclamation ever issued: the Emancipation Proclamation. These two, plus four well known wartime proclamations or orders, comprise the grouping I have included below:
