Talland Bay lies midway between the small harbour town of Looe and the picturesque fishing village of Polperro in south-east Cornwall, England. Talland itself is hardly even a hamlet, but within the bay there are other farmsteads and settlements (Barcelona, Brent, Hendersick, Killigarth, Porthallow, Sclerder, Tencreek, and Portlooe) and the village of Pelynt slightly inland.
