This
New Year's Day my son and I carried on a tradition of the past several
years.
From
experience the climate of the tropics affords a New Year's Day of 80 degrees. This
year was no exception.Chris and
I biked from his home near Sea World to Kissimmee Park. The
distance was over fifty-one miles, which took us just under four hours
plus several food stops.
Surprisingly
I was able to maintain 20 mph for several short distances. My
son follows along with several gears remaining on his sprocket. Our
average speed was 13 mph far from the over 20 which he would like to again
do at Flatwoods near Tampa Bay.
This
essay is the first to be dictated to the computer. Thanks
to my son my life has become digitally updated. My
new digital camera took the following picture of Chris.
