The very first Deanna Durbin film I ever saw was "It Started With Eve".  This became, of course, my favourite.  Since then I have seen and come to own many more of her films including, but not limited to, "Three Smart Girls", "Three Smart Girls Grow Up", "100 Men and a Girl", "Woman On A Train", and "Can't Help Singing".

Several years ago I had the opportunity to write to her and she was very kind to myself and my family by writing back.  She included with her hand typed note, autographed photos for my wife and myself and one for each of my three children.  My entire family were very sad to hear that her husband passed away recently and she has now found it difficult to continue writing to her fans.  We all understand this and wish her all the best as she continues along in her very private life.
