Carolyn Houston died on Feb 21, 1997 of cancer.I would like to dedicate this page to Carolyn Denise Houston. I don't really know her personally, but she was someone very special and important to Batman and his family in which they lost.

In dedication to Carolyn Denise Houston, mother of my son Marques (Batman) Houston and my wife. This all begins when I got out of the navy, back in 1972. I met Carolyn in August of that year. She had the most beautiful smile. That was the first time Jehovah blessed me, it wouldn't be the last. I married carolyn eight months later on April 20, 1973. She told me later she knew we would get married. Carolyn seemed to know a lot of things. She knew how to love unconditionally. She knew how to be a woman, and a wife. She knew how to shop. She knew how to a mother. She knew that I loved her. When you talk about her you talk about love. She showed me how to love and she taught many of us here that it was ok to show love. She showed many of us here what a real friend was. I know for sure there are those of us here today that she touched with her love and her spirit. She had that uncommon ability to to be able to see your heart. She was always concerned about her family and her friends. Even when she got really sick, she was still concerned about how I was holding up and if the kids were ok. She was an angel, she was my angel! She was my strength. The bible says your mate should be your partner,in the case of carolyn and Michael, she was my partner. she understood when I did not. she was my best friend. If it were not for Carolyn's presence in my life, I could not have become the man I am today. She was my dream girl. She was beautiful in so many ways, she had a beautiful smile and a beautiful heart. And I loved her and I hope all of you love her in the same way she loved you all!!!
