5:04 PM:
Hello all, Flying Aarons webmaster here. I received a fax from Andrew of the Flying Aarons earlier this morning. In this letter were instructions to delete the chat room and quote of the week because they are "annoying" and "dumb". Also, he said if all goes well, the Flying Aarons album will soon be recorded and probably be released in January with a huge record release show and then the band will probably never play again. That's all for now.

Sunday, June 10, 2001: Late last night and early this morning two members of the popular musical act, THE FLYING AARONS, ran into a little trouble to say the least.

After engaging in some harmless juvenile activites in the direction of 4 large and angry men, Flying Aaron (lead vocals) and Andy (keyboard, vocals) were involved in a high speed car chase ranging from Lansing to Hammond to Calumet City to Whiting where tires screeched and stop signs were blown.

The Aarons were pulled over when the men in the chasing car impersonated police officers (using a spot light, blue flashing police lights, and a siren). When the Flying Aarons realized the men were not members of Hammond's finest, they attempted to flee. The Aaron chasers then cut off the "blue beast" resulting in a car collision.

Hammond's most popular citizens, Flying Aaron and Andy, felt their immediate safety was threatened, and raced away from the scene of the accident.

This resulted in another high speed chase through downtown Hammond. During the chase, a rock was thrown at Flying Aaron's automobile, a blue 1986 Plymouth Reliant. Luckily only the radio antenna was struck.

The insanity finally ended after being chased from Hammond to Whiting two times when the "blue beast" was pulled over by real cops on 119th St. and Calumet Ave. Both cars spoke to police officers, but never to eachother.

The date of the Flying Aarons first court room appearance has yet to be determined and a letter from the prosecutor is being mailed.

The Flying Aarons will be selling t-shirts and accepting donations at Beth-Ann Helen Johnson's graduation party on Friday, June 15, 2001 to pay for deductable and damage costs. Any help will be appreciated.

The bottom line is that The Flying Aarons are healthy and safe.
