Ok, so there's nothing here...but it's a nice colour scheme, don't you think? December 2003: A pic from our recent family portrait session, and also of our new home.
I am a high school teacher, specializing in Home Economics courses. I love my school and my job, even though it's sometimes quite demanding.
My husband Brian is currently a graduate student/lecturer in Computer Science at the local university. He seems very happy, after leaving a soul-killing "cubicle" job 2 years ago to return to academia full-time.
We have been married for 11 years, and have one child, Leah, who's six (it seems impossible!).
In the summer of 2003 we bought a bungalow, just three doors down from Leah's school. Moving is not an experience I want to repeat soon, given that we are both such packrats, so it's good thing that we intend to make this our home until we're old and grey!

June 2003: Brian gave me my own domain for Christmas, so I'm starting to move everything there.
Back yard, taken in July
Not-so-great pic of the front of the house, would have had to stand on the across-the-street neighbours lawn to get a better one, didn't know them yet, so didn't want to do that.
The view from our back porch...this pic does not do justice to the view...compared to the summer you can see much more now that the leaves have fallen - in the distance is the university where Brian studies/works.
