In all, 98 stories were written for the site. It was planned that story 99 would wrap up the immediate storyline and story 100 would begin a new "season" that would bring several changes and set several new plot threads into motion. However, life got in the way and U.S.S. Equinox was instead discontinued. I've decided to keep the site up for anyone who would like to read through the existing stories, since I am thankful to everyone who stuck with the site, even through slow updates, while it was still active.
In addition, as a bonus I've posted six previously unpublished stories. These were stories that had been submitted by participants, but could not be posted, usually because of inconsistencies that were not corrected in a reasonable time frame by the author. One, however, was a story a participant submitted, but then requested it not be posted, submitting a different story instead. These stories have been edited for general formatting, but are otherwise exactly as I received them.
Lastly, I've included a file with 22 character signups that I actually received in the course of running the site, but that were not accepted. The reasons for not accepting them ran the gamut from obvious joke signups, characters that could not believably be serving on a starship or had too close a relation to major Star Trek characters, signups with too little information, signups that were in some way inconsistent with established Star Trek canon (and for which the submitter did not reply when e-mailed and asked for a revised signup), and one signup that was not submitted in English. I believe one or two were characters that were accepted, but the participant didn't submit a story on their first turn. E-mail addresses have been removed, but the signups are otherwise exactly as I received them.
